陈先达，1930年生，江西鄱阳人，著名哲学家。1953年毕业于复旦大学历史系，1956年从中国人民大学哲学研究班毕业后留校任教至今，现为中国人民大学哲学院教授，博士生导师。曾任中国人民大学哲学系主任，国务院哲学学科评议组成员，教育部哲学教学指导委员会成员，教育部人文社会科学专家咨询委员会委员，中国历史唯物主义学会会长，北京市哲学学会会长。从1991年起享受政府津贴。著有《走向历史的深处》、《被肢解的马克思》、《漫步遐思》、《静园夜语》等。著作和论文曾分获中宣部“五个一工程”奖（第七、第八届），全国高等学校人文社会科学研究优秀成果一等奖，北京市哲学社会科学优秀成果特等奖、一等奖、二等奖，吴玉章奖金一等奖等多种奖项。社会兼职：全国哲学社会科学基金规划哲学组组长教育部社会科学委员会委员中国历史唯物主义学会名誉会长。
English ResumeChen Xianda, a native of Poyang, Jiangxi Province, was born on the 30th , December in 1930. He was graduated from History Department of Fu Dan University. After postgraduated with a major in Philosophy in Renmin University of China, he was appointed to be a teacher in Renmin University of China till now. Presently, Mr. Chen is the professor and supervisor of the Doctors in Philosophy Department, Renmin University of China. Mr. Chen studies Marxism Philosophy and works on teaching and researching of Marxism Philosophy for long time. Mr. Chen was ever obtained the 7th and 8th prizes of "Five Ones Project", the first prize of "Excellent Works of National Advanced College Arts & Society Sciences Research", the special/first/second prizes of "Excellent Works of Philosophy and Society Science Research in Beijing City", the first prize of "Wu Yuzhang Prize" and so on. Mr.Chen also was ever appointed to be the dean of Philosophy Department, Ren Min University of China, the member of the third State Council Subject Senate, the Chairman of Beijing Philosophy Academy, the standing committee of Beijing Society & Science League, the honor Chairman of China History Materialism League, the member of Society & Science League of Ministry of Education, the member of National Advanced College "Two-Subject" Study Supervisal Committee and so on. Mr. Chen has been enjoyed the governmental subvention from 1991.
